What to Expect
You've got a school to run. The last thing you need is an assembly-day surprise. Here's exactly what to expect when you book Broken Beakers - from confirmation to curtain call.
Before the show:
Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send you a brief pre-event questionnaire to fill out.
That’s it! No lengthy planning calls, no complicated logistics. We’ve done this before.
What we bring:
You don’t need to lift a finger for setup! We arrive with everything we need:
- Our own PA system — every student hears clearly, even from the back row
- Projector and screen — no fighting with your AV cart
- All experiment materials — fully prepped and ready to go
- Safety gear — eye protection and gloves (show-dependent)
*Note: We secure cables with gaffer tape for safety. Just let us know in advance if you’d prefer we use an alternative method.*
Day-of timeline:
60-90 Minutes before show — arrival, check-in, and setup
Showtime — first 45 minute performance
Short break — transition between student groups
Second performance — second performance, the same show with fresh energy
After the show — approximately 30 minutes for cleanup
After the show:
Learning doesn’t stop when the gym empties out. After every assembly, teachers can access free follow-up activities and resources on our Teacher Resources page!
Snow days:
We know school schedules are unpredictable. If a snow day or emergency forces a reschedule, simply email us and we’ll find a new date as quickly as possible. Your $100 deposit moves with your booking — no penalties, no hassle.
